\r\n\r\n\t\t\tJob Summary: We seek a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing a variety of manufacturing machines and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.
\r\n\r\n\t\t\tRequired Skills:
\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\tWear and maintain in good condition all personal safety devices always required and work safely and efficiently with relation to machinery and co-workers.\r\n\t\t\t\tBe aware of safe work methods and working conditions. Do everything possible to prevent personal injury and injury to others. \r\n\t\t\t\tAbility to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift or push weights up to 50 pounds for prolonged periods during assigned work shifts. Manual dexterity as needed to operate machinery and equipment and complete assigned tasks.\r\n\t\t\t\tMust be able to read, speak, and understand verbal and written directions in English for safety purposes.\r\n\t\t\t\tMust be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises associated with plant operations.\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\r\n\t\t\tKey Responsibilities:
\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\tPerform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machines, including water pumps, gearboxes, machine motors, hydraulic systems, conveyors, heater systems, and extrusion machinery.\r\n\t\t\t\tDiagnose issues and determine the best course of action to repair or replace parts.\r\n\t\t\t\tConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.\r\n\t\t\t\tUse tools and equipment to dismantle and gain access to parts that need repair.\r\n\t\t\t\tTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480v.\r\n\t\t\t\tRead and interpret schematics to trace electrical circuits and identify issues.\r\n\t\t\t\tReplace worn or burnt-out parts and perform necessary repairs.\r\n\t\t\t\tMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\r\n\t\t\tQualifications:
\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\tCertification or training in industrial mechanics or arc welding.\r\n\t\t\t\tMinimum 5 years of experience as an industrial mechanic (experience with civilian automobiles not applicable).\r\n\t\t\t\tProficiency in arc welding and using a drill press.\r\n\t\t\t\tStrong electrical skills, including troubleshooting and repairing systems up to 480v.\r\n\t\t\t\tCompetence in using an OHM meter and reading schematics.\r\n\t\t\t\tFamiliarity with a variety of manufacturing machines and their components.\r\n\t\t\t\tExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\r\n\t\t\t\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\r\n\t\t\tPreferred Skills:
\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\tExperience with specific equipment used in our facility (e.g., water pumps, gearboxes, machine motors, hydraulic systems, conveyors, heater systems, extrusion machinery).\r\n\t\t\t\tKnowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\r\n\t\t\t
Pay rate: 31.62 -38.00 an hr. DOE
\r\n\r\n\t\t\tThe pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
