Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
GMP, liquid foods manufacturing environment (USDA and FDA regulated facility) Completes assigned work orders on food production machinery and facility equipment. Industrial blenders, mixers, kettles, ovens and convection roasters, etc. Makes mechanical adjustments as needed Lubricates machinery Diagnoses and corrects mechanical and basic electrical problems Fabricates basic parts if needed, orders parts Repairs and/or overhauls in-plant equipment Performs preventive and predictive maintenance tasks Works with contractors and vendors as needed Requests parts to be ordered Follows GMP’s and SOP’s Liquid food production equipment: large pressure cookers, mixers, kettles, pumps, motors, hydraulic and pneumatics, etc.
