Maintenance Mechanic
**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will work closely with Automation Engineers to ensure that existing equipment is running according to specifications. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, debugging, start-up, and programming of all automated equipment and upgrades. You will be the technical expert for electrical circuits, program logic controls, vision inspection, and automation. You will also coordinate the development and maintenance of effective maintenance specifications and preventative maintenance programs on all equipment to ensure optimal performance. You will participate with the automation team in designing machines, equipment, systems, devices, and fixtures to support assembly requirements. Additionally, you will recommend equipment improvements or manufacturing methods, assist maintenance personnel in diagnosing software and electrical system problems, and support the maintenance team in equipment repairs. You must be extremely flexible with off-shift availability and representation. **Hard Skills** + Technical expertise in electrical circuits + Program logic controls + Vision inspection and automation + Troubleshooting and debugging + Familiarity with PLC and Logic Vision systems + Ability to make minor adjustments in HMI **Soft Skills** + Demonstrated oral and written communication skills + Customer-focused + Understanding of manufacturing, assembly, sequencing, and equipment principles **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. **Work Environment** 1st shift times: 7am - 3:30pm, 2nd shift times: 3pm - 11:30pm, 3rd shift times: 11pm - 7:30am **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
