**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** This position is for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing facility that produces plastic bottles. The candidate will train on a day shift but will transition to a permanent night shift. Responsibilities include diagnosing and performing troubleshooting and repair on pneumatic, hydraulic, air, water, electrical lines, and power supply problems with minimal impact on processing time. The role also includes preventative maintenance on industrial food-grade machines, meeting with the shift supervisor to discuss issues or changes, and reporting any unresolved issues. Major repairs are not required during the night shift, but maintaining machine operations is crucial. The candidate must also make work orders, use a computer for reporting, and manage inventory for materials and tools. **Hard Skills** + 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility + Electrical knowledge (420/480V) for industrial production machines + Understanding of schematics and connectivity between electrical components + Hydraulics knowledge (pressurized liquids such as oil or air) + Troubleshooting industrial machines in manufacturing and production + Rebuilding pneumatic parts + SAP knowledge (a plus) **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Fairfield, California. **Work Environment** Very large facility with several departments of production and warehouse. Two sides of production: one for the blow molding and the other for packaging operators. The facility is very clean as it is GMP-certified, and all bottles are made ready to fill.
