Maintenance Mechanic
**Job Title:** Maintenance Mechanic **Location:** Farmingdale, NJ **Pay:** $38-$48/hr. **Overview:** Our client is a leading manufacturer in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Farmingdale, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. **Key Responsibilities:** · Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of manufacturing and packaging equipment, including mixers, blenders, tablet presses, encapsulation machines, and other related machinery. · Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. · Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery. · Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently, meeting all regulatory standards. · Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records of repairs, and inventory of spare parts and tools. · Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance and production processes. · Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. · Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as needed. **Qualifications:** · High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus. · Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. · Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. · Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment. · Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Good communication and teamwork skills. · Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. · Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overtime, as needed. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
