Maintenance Mechanic–Direct HirePay Rate: $32.24 – $39.52 based on qualifications and experienceLocation: Milwaukee, WIHours: 2nd Shift 2:30pm-10:30pm & 3rd Shift 10:30pm-6:30am positions available (training will take place on 1st Shift 6am-2pm) The Maintenance Mechanic ensures reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventative maintenance on machines and systems.  Will also diagnose, repair, and calibrate machines and equipment to include all mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic components and controls. Responsibilities:Perform work safely and in compliance with company policiesReads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work ordersUses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts  Assembles, installs, adjusts, and calibrates mechanical and electrical machinery and equipmentMaintain documents and records Requirements:Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints, shop routings and specific engineering notes related to unique customer specificationsOperational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsDemonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to team membersStrong written and oral communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant softwareBenefits and Perks:Health, Dental, Vision, 401KPTO programA company that is committed to providing a safe working environmentOpportunities for growth and compensation Your New Organization: Join a team that values its employees and provides competitive compensation.
