**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** Operating, optimizing, and maintaining assigned production equipment. Meeting and exceeding production standards while maintaining product quality. Minimizing and preventing equipment downtime and sustaining budgeted waste levels. Maintaining accurate equipment logs and recording downtime and maintenance problems. Performing preventative maintenance on equipment. Starting up equipment and ensuring accurate functioning. Monitoring component inventories and safety guards. Maintaining a neat and orderly production environment. Monitoring in-process quality and addressing issues as needed. Performing required checks and process challenges. Following safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements. Supporting upstream and downstream operations. Performing rework as required. Working optimally in a team environment. **Hard Skills** + Pneumatics + Mechanics + Swing bars + CAM drives + Understanding the mechanics + Timing of machines (timing belts) + Computer skills for DHR/quality checks **Soft Skills** + Sense of urgency, observant. + Mechanical ability + Teamwork **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Sumter, South Carolina. **Night shift 2-2-3 from 8pm to 8am. Overtime is available. Onboarding starts on Mondays.
