Maintenance Mechanic
**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Qualifications** + 5 Years minimum experience with trouble shooting electrical components of manufacturing machines - diagnose electrical issues through the use of schematics, OHM meter, etc + Develop and maintain a good attendance and employment record + Mechanic has tools and rolling toolbox + Education: High School diploma or equivalent; + Proof of Technical certifications or relevant trade qualifications + Proven experience performing mechanical and electrical work within the maintenance mechanic field + Strong knowledge of industrial PLC's, manufacturing equipment, machinery and systems + Proficient in diagnosing mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipment issues + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and blue prints + Excellent organizational skills + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities + Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various departments **Responsibilities** + As the Manufacturing Machine Mechanic , you will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment + 5 Years minimum of experience maintaining Manufacturing Production machinery + Work with the plant Maintenance Supervisor/ and Lead Mechanic in determining daily and weekly Maintenance Mechanic work + Performing completion of work assignments in a timely manner + The Plant runs three shifts + Perform visual inspections of maintenance jobs in progress and upon completion to ensure that quality standards are being met + Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication on production machinery and other plant equipment and facilities in accordance with the preventive maintenance program + Repair broken or defective equipment as scheduled + Assist production personnel with mechanical, electrical or other operational problems with any plant equipment + Assist in performance of emergency maintenance work on a rush basis when production is adversely affected or directed by Maintenance Supervisor + Attend training programs or sessions to improve level of knowledge and skills consistent with the other job requirements + Keep work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all possible times + Wear and maintain in good condition all personal safety devices required and work in a safe and efficient manner at all times + Any and all other duties outlined and requested by immediate supervisor **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
