**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** This position is for a manufacturing facility specializing in plastic bottles. We seek a skilled maintenance mechanic with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, air, water, electrical lines, and power supplies with minimal impact on processing time. You will also perform preventative maintenance on industrial food-grade machines, report issues to the shift supervisor, and handle open issues with the support of a technical skills maintenance specialist if needed. The role requires computer skills for making work orders, managing inventory, and reporting usage. **Hard Skills** + Maintenance Mechanic II Preferred + At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility + Electrical knowledge (420/480V) for industrial production machines + Understanding of schematics + Hydraulics knowledge (pressurized liquids such as oil or air) + Troubleshooting industrial machines in manufacturing and production + Rebuilding pneumatic parts + SAP is a plus **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Fairfield, California. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
