**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** You will assist with maintaining production machinery in a processing facility. This role requires electrical knowledge up to 480 volts, fabrication, rigging, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and general maintenance. You will also perform any other duties necessary for improving plant and equipment performance, including forklift preventative maintenance, forklift repair, building maintenance, and mechanical machine repair. **Responsibilities** + Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). + Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, hydraulic equipment, and welding equipment. + Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. + Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics. + Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime. + Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists, and hand tools. + Prepare maintenance reports and summary presentations using daily activity logs, analysis, and trends. + Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical knowledge through ongoing training, industry workshops, and technical reading. + Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and equipment needs. **Essential Skills** + Manufacturing equipment maintenance + Heavy machinery maintenance + Press machine maintenance + Forklift maintenance and repair + Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge + Mechanical equipment maintenance and repair + Electrical troubleshooting up to 480 volts + Welding and fabrication skills + Ability to troubleshoot and install mechanical systems + Experience with industrial and metal forming environments **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
