Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
1st shift
$30-$38/HR
Description:
-Resolve mechanical issues referencing drawings, blueprints, and sketches as required; service or repair equipment for operable condition.
-Install and align new equipment.
-Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, building and grounds as required; maintain accurate, electronic records.
-Track spare parts and requisitions in the maintenance and repair of equipment.
-Move or relocate manufacturing equipment.
-Operate forklift, cranes, and other machinery as required for testing, inspection, or completion of a maintenance project.
-Use a variety of small electrical, hand operated or power tools as required.
-Assist in temperature control in the facility and repair or maintenance of related equipment.
-Provide support in setup of office furniture or repair.
-Work following safety requirements during maintenance operations that may require verifying and identifying energy control sources and performing Lock/Out-Tag/Out procedures to ensure safety of self and others in work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Good people skills - will have to coordinate with outside vendors/contractors
