Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our plant facilities. Under limited supervision, you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks, including machining, installing, disassembling, assembling, modifying, and repairing plant equipment, utility lines, and wine lines. Your ability to work with blueprints, sketches, equipment manuals, and both written and verbal instructions will be essential to your success in this role.

 

In this position, you will operate hydraulic presses, cutting torches, welders, saws, and grinders, and will be tasked with installing new equipment as needed. You will read and interpret OEM manuals to maintain and construct production and plant equipment, diagnose and correct malfunctions, and apply your expertise in welding, mechanical work, equipment adjustment, plumbing, masonry, pipe-fitting, troubleshooting, and lubrication. Effective communication skills are crucial, as you will need to convey ideas clearly and collaborate with team members to maintain operational excellence.

 

 You will also be responsible for understanding and adhering to all applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations, ensuring that our operations are compliant and safe. What You Will Need: 

High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of prior maintenance experience working in production/manufacturing facility reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Required to work any shift. Required to work overtime when necessary. Required to work in outside conditions during all season of the year (rain, high heat temperatures, wind, etc.). Required to comply with company GMP policies. Required to lift and move up to 40 pounds frequently. Required to possess own mechanic hand tools. Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.

Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart: 

3 years of journeyman level maintenance experience. Gas and arc weld, heli-arc experience. Work from blueprints. Good verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in all phases of mechanical work. Forklift, man lift, scissors lift certified. Welding certification. Hydraulics experience. Fabrication and rigging experience.

Compensation:

Hiring Salary Range Posted:  $38.18 - $38.18/ hour
