**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift who will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of food machinery. The role involves working on various equipment including conveyors, ovens, heaters, chillers, baggers, fillers, coolers, and packaging machinery. This position requires handling 80% mechanical and 20% electrical work, as well as troubleshooting PLCs and participating in the setup and modification of machinery. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance on food machinery. + Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, ovens, heaters, chillers, baggers, fillers, coolers, and packaging machinery. + Handle 80% mechanical and 20% electrical work. + Troubleshoot PLCs. + Set up and modify machinery as needed. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic working on conveyors, packaging, heaters, ovens, baggers, fillers, etc. + Strong mechanical skills and a good understanding of electrical systems. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in the food industry is strongly preferred but candidates from industrial, medical, and pharmaceutical backgrounds will also be considered. + Welding or machining experience is a huge plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values work-life balance and provides opportunities for overtime. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift for approximately two weeks before transitioning to the 3rd shift. The facility is a clean food manufacturing and packaging environment where hair nets and smocks must be worn at all times.
