**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with excellent attention to detail. Our ideal candidate will have experience in repairing manufacturing machinery. Overtime hours are always available. **Responsibilities** + Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and answering trouble calls. + Troubleshoot problems with the use of schematics and wiring diagrams on motor and heater circuits ranging from low voltage to 480v three phase. + Remove and replace defective parts from equipment with the use of hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. + Communicate effectively with the shift supervisor to prioritize repairs. + Make entries to the maintenance log explaining problems encountered, repairs made, and parts used or needed. + Keep company tools put away and in working order. + Fabricate repair parts, machine guarding, mezzanines, etc., using shop equipment such as welders, plasma cutters, torches, grinders, etc. **Essential Skills** + Maintenance management + Repair + Supervision + Maintenance supervision + Troubleshooting + Electrical + Maintenance technician + Preventive maintenance + Schematic + Mechanical **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of maintenance experience on equipment. + Must have experience focused on electrical, or willing to take electrical classes at Hennepin Tech. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive health care, dental, and vision benefits, along with vacation pay and a 401k plan.
