**Industrial Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are hiring 4 experienced Maintenance Mechanics for our night shift. This position requires working 4 days on, 4 days off, from 6 PM to 6 AM. Candidates must be open to working any day of the week as the days will rotate. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, modifying, rebuilding, and maintaining plant equipment, with a focus on electrical/PLC, robotics, mechanical, hydraulics/pneumatics, welding, machining, and conveyor systems. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, rebuild, and maintain plant equipment. + Maintain and repair heavy industrial machinery, including plant equipment, piping systems, fluid power systems, cutting, burning, and all types of welding. + Troubleshoot aluminum extrusion presses and auxiliary equipment, including PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors. + Read, follow, and understand drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals, and manufacturers' specifications. + Promote, support, and enforce ISO 9001 elements as they apply to the maintenance department. + Contribute to safety and environmental programs to meet regulatory requirements. + Perform maintenance duties in a team environment and independently with little or no supervision. + Own safety processes and perform maintenance safety program audits, including Lockout/Tag out, Confined Space, Fall Protection, PPE, and mobile equipment. + Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and make repairs or improvements as needed. + Work with Purchasing, Maintenance, Engineering, and Physical Distribution to maintain services for the plant. + Assist in maintaining an accurate electronic backlog of all Work Requests and Work Orders, in cooperation with maintenance planners. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of ISO 9001 elements and their applicability to the maintenance department. + Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). + Experience in Lean Manufacturing concepts and OSHA requirements (preferred). **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
