As a Maintenance Mechanic here at Honeywell Environmental & Energy Solutions (ESS), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment. Your expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations. You will work as part of a team to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and make necessary repairs.
You will report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor and you'll work out of our Baton Rouge, LA location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and uptime of our manufacturing equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing production output.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment according to schedule.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and make necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols for equipment maintenance.
