This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. **Job Location:** Dodge City, KS **Job Type:** Full Time **Shift available** : 3rd **Compensation** : $23.20/hr **Benefits Information** + Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance + Health and Wellness Incentives + Paid Vacation and Holidays + 401(k) with Cargill matching contributions + Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) + Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Tuition Reimbursement + Employee Discounts **Principal Accountabilities** + May operate heavy machinery (including forklift) or computer programs + Use a variety of tools and retrieve parts + Conduct daily set-up of area + Troubleshooting + Working around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity + Ensuring safety, food safety and quality + Cleanliness and housekeeping + Maintaining a safe working environment **Required Qualifications** + Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship + Must be at least 18 years or older + Ability to read, write, and speak English + Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division + Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects + Willingness to participate on various teams such as HAZMAT + Knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, and industrial/electronic controls + A strong PLC trouble shooting and problem solving ability with practical, mechanical, & electrical aptitude + A strong understanding of industrial controls circuits + Demonstrated troubleshooting effectiveness + Computer literate with Microsoft OS + Strong ability to identify priories and adjust as needed + Strong ability to work independently; highly self motivated, self directed and be results oriented **Preferred Qualifications** + Computer skills + Previous experience **Please note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement.** Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet
