Maintenance Mechanic

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Hudson, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components, experience working on production machines, and the ability to read and interpret layouts.
**Top 3 Must Haves:**
1. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components
2. Experience working on production machines
3. Knowledge of reading and interpreting layouts
**Responsibilities:**
+ Troubleshooting, repair work, and preventive maintenance (PM) on electrical and mechanical equipment/machinery
+ Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics under ladder logic programs
+ Conserving and maintaining parts and supply inventories
+ Being on-site during emergency situations
+ Training junior maintenance staff
**Qualifications:**
+ High School diploma and Electro-Mechanical Tech training required
+ Minimum of 5 years of mechanical/electrical experience on equipment in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
+ 3+ years of related experience with packaging
**Shift:**
1st shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
**Additional Information:**
+ Candidates will initially work with about 5-10 associates as the facility is still in the process of getting up and running
+ Dress code: jeans and steel toe boots
+ PPE required and will be provided
+ The primary responsibility of the Technician is to maintain production equipment and ensure all machinery and equipment are in operating condition. Candidates will work closely with all techs and production operators and assist with other tasks and requests as directed by upper management.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00
