**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking two dedicated and skilled maintenance mechanics to join our team on the second shift. The chosen candidates will play an integral role in maintaining the functionality of our production and packing equipment, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any mechanical issues as they arise.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform scheduled maintenance on production and packing equipment.
+ Provide emergency and/or unscheduled maintenance as required.
+ Assist with the setup of equipment for scheduled production runs.
+ Assist with machine rebuilds, installations, and moves.
+ Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packing and other production equipment.
+ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least one year of automotive experience or previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment.
+ Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment mechanically.
+ Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with brake repair, electrical, and preventive maintenance.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.
+ Experience in the setup and operation of general machine maintenance shop equipment and tools.
+ Possession of personal tools is ideal, although many power tools will be supplied.

**Work Environment**
Our manufacturing environment is clean, loud, and climate-controlled. The position requires flexibility, including the ability to work 8 hours of overtime per week as needed. The first shift opening hours are from 6 am to 3 pm.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Palmer, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00
