Maintenance Mechanic
Pay:
32-35/hr (100% Negotiable- depending on experience, references, and interview)
Description:
We are looking for maintenance mechanics for their 3rd shift to maintain and repair their production lines Primarily in a food/ beverage manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
•\tPerform routine maintenance including greasing as well as preventative maintenance Troubleshooting of equipment which includes both electrical and mechanical systems
•\tPerform and assist in repair or updating and installation of equipment
•\tworks closely with production to minimize downtime
•\tResponsible for troubleshooting complex electrical and plc systems
•\tDealing with hazardous materials
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
•\t2 years of technical training related to automated packaging machinery systems.
OR
•\t2 years\\' experience in the maintenance and repair of equipment field
•\t1 year of basic electrical experience.
Preferred:
•\tknowledge of packaging and fluid
•\tPLC experience
Disqualifiers - no technical schooling and/or relatable experience to automation or packaging equipment

Worksite Location:
•\tSaint Paul, MN
Schedule:
The mechanics are split into two shifts at night covering the week.
•\tShift A works every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday
•\tShift B works every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday.
•\tOverall 3 days a week for 1 and 4 days a week in 2.
•\t3rd shift - 6 pm-6 am schedule
•\t1st shift 6 AM-6 PM
Work Environment:
•\tThis is a food manufacturing plant so there are very high food quality regulations that need to be followed
•\tEverything is very sanitary, and hairnets and gowns are worn by all the production staff.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $71000.00
rotating shift, but has built in OT every other week. They work 36 hours one week, 48 hours another week and so on. With that in mind, if someone is making $33/hr they are actually making $36.30 on the year if it is averaged out.
They also will get to spend 78 extra days off from the schedule compared to a 5 day work week. That is 78 extra days to spend time with their families, not including PTO and holiday pay as well!
