Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Operating, optimizing, and maintaining assigned production equipment to meet and exceed production standards while maintaining product quality. Minimizing and preventing equipment downtime and sustaining budgeted waste levels. Maintaining accurate equipment logs and recording downtime and maintenance problems. Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, starting up equipment and ensuring accurate functioning. Monitoring component inventories and safety guards, maintaining a neat and orderly production environment, and monitoring in-process quality and addressing issues as needed. Performing required quality checks and process challenges, following safety and environmental procedures, and Quality System Requirements. Supporting upstream and downstream operations, performing rework as required, and working optimally in a team environment.

Work Environment

Direct placement with night shift hours (3-2-2-3 schedule from 8pm-8am). Extensive training provided on first shift before transitioning to the night shift. Must start on Mondays for onboarding. The plant operates 24/7 and employs around 900 people, offering a large and dynamic work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sumter, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $56160.00
