Maintenance Mechanic
**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician on 1st shift Monday to Friday!** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. **Responsibilities** + Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment required for the job. + Assist with raw material planning and logistics, production planning, quality control, and finished goods distribution. + Effectively produce products meeting all customer and internal quality standards. + Maintain, support, and troubleshoot mechanical systems, including interpreting architectural blueprints, working with conveyors, hydraulics, piping, power transmission, and welding. + Maintain, support, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including relays, safety interlocks, motors, and schematics. + Work with various equipment such as air compressors, bearings, conveyors, couplings, digesters, filters, gearboxes, hoses, hydraulic lifts, mixers, pumps, silos, tanks, and water heaters. + Use hand and power tools on equipment in the field or on a workbench. + Operate various tools to fabricate miscellaneous items as needed. + Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance checks on equipment. + Assist in the management of spare parts and maintenance supplies. + Perform housekeeping responsibilities. + Work overtime and rotating 'On-Call' duty to cover off-shift and weekends as needed. + Perform other duties as assigned in support of business goals and objectives. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. + Experience with mechanical systems including conveyors, hydraulics, piping, power transmission, and welding. + Experience with electrical systems including relays, safety interlocks, motors, and schematics. + Experience working with various equipment such as air compressors, bearings, conveyors, couplings, digesters, filters, gearboxes, hoses, hydraulic lifts, mixers, pumps, silos, tanks, and water heaters. + Ability to work with hand and power tools. + Strong organizational and planning skills. + Dependable, flexible, and able to respond on short notice. + Good interpersonal and communication skills. + Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude. + Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in written form. + High School Diploma or GED. + Minimum 3 years of progressive industrial maintenance experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel, and Outlook. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Optional Certifications/Licenses: Basic Electricity, Welding. + Experience with LEAN Manufacturing is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a small crew where most people stay long-term. Be prepared to work inside confined spaces, traverse ship ladders, catwalks, and work at elevated platforms as high as 50 feet.
