Maintenance Mechanic
**Now actively hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic for a large manufacturing company in West Caldwell, NJ. Please submit an application to be immediately considered for the position!** **Pay:** $28 - $37 **Shift:** 2pm - 10pm (Over Time as needed) **Location:** West Caldwell, NJ **Job Description** Assist in maintaining a smooth production operation by performing a daily routine of maintaining equipment through mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. This includes repairing, changeovers, machinery setup, minor installation of production equipment, and scheduled preventive maintenance of machines and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Follow all GMPs and relevant SOPs. + Perform daily minor troubleshooting and repair of packaging machines and equipment. + Maintain machine parts and keep changeover tooling in good condition. + Provide general preventive maintenance to packaging machines and equipment. + Fill all required maintenance documentation (Cleaning Logs, Parts Requisition Maintenance Report, Daily Quality Checks, and Part Requisition Sheets) accurately and timely. + Ensure all safety components/guarding from all packaging machines and equipment are operational and in proper use. + Strive to increase productivity by completing maintenance, changeovers, and repair work in a timely and efficient manner. + Maintain equipment, parts, and determine inventory spare part levels. + Demonstrate mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.. + Have basic machine shop knowledge and operate machines like a drill press, vertical/horizontal band saw, and work with power tools. **Benefits** Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k **Apply now!
