**Aerotek Is Hiring For Position Of Maintenance Mechanic Located At Spokane , Wa -Paying 22$-29$/HR** **Job Description** The Maintenance Mechanic is a key role within the facility, responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment and assets. They play a crucial part in maintaining the plant's material condition, supporting production goals, and minimizing downtime. This role involves a balance between hands-on maintenance work, cost management, and technical strategy to optimize the performance of the facility. Key responsibilities include: 1. Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment to keep them in optimal working condition. 2. Work closely with the production team to ensure minimal equipment failure and downtime, ensuring production goals are met efficiently. 3. Monitor and manage costs related to equipment repairs, spare parts, and consumables to minimize upkeep expenses while maintaining equipment performance. 4. Collaborate with the RCM Regional Manager to align with the facility’s long-term asset management and strategy, ensuring reliability and operational excellence. 5. Report directly to the Plant Manager for day-to-day operations, ensuring the facility’s equipment and systems are well-maintained and available for production. 6. Suggest and implement process improvements in maintenance routines to enhance equipment life and reduce maintenance costs. The role involves coordinating maintenance schedules with production demands and ensuring all activities are documented in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Expect a collaborative environment with a focus on safety practices and high work standards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Spokane, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.42 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
