Maintenance Mechanic
**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing bakery equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely to meet production goals. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment. + Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions. + Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems. + Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. + Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Experience with fabrication equipment such as lathes, mills, drill press, TIG and MIG welding. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. + Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and industrial maintenance. + Ability to work with 3-phase electrical systems and perform wiring and schematic reading.
