Primary Purpose \n
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and modify associated with pipes, pumps, tanks and other equipment around the facility. \n
Essential Functions and Responsibilities \n\nPlant maintenance including general repairs and replacement of pumps, valves, piping, and hoses. \nLubricates pumps, mixers, motors and other equipment; replaces grease fittings and oilers if necessary. \nOperates forklift to load and unload parts and equipment. \nMaintains and refills filter units, replaces insulation and stream tracing on pumps and lines as needed. \nResponsible for keeping operating areas, walls, pipes and floor in a clean and safe condition. \nPerforms monthly\/weekly calibrations as required by regulatory agencies. \nOperates equipment and tools to complete such work as cutting, threading, removing and replacing fittings. \nRepair hoses and piping as needed including threading pipe (Basic Pipefitting) \nPerform standard mechanical PM's for the facility \nIdentify inventory needs and report to supervisor. \nBe able to rebuild air diaphragm and mechanical seal pumps. \nUnderstand OSHA and company rules for: lock out \/ tag out procedures; confined space entry; hot work and pipeline breaking and other associated procedures. \nPerform coating repairs mainly on concrete flooring surfaces and tank walls. \nPosition works around hazardous materials and will often require use of PPE: Boots, Gloves, Suits, Eye\/Ear Protection and Respirator \nServes as an active member of the Plant Emergency Response Team (PERT); ensures mechanical shutdown in case of an emergency. \nHave the ability to ARC\/MIG weld and fabricate materials as needed for repairs and installation of equipment. \n\n

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. \n
Experience: At least 1-3 years Industrial Maintenance experience. Must have Arc or MIG welding experience. Some electrical experience preferred. \n
Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator. Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment. Ability to operate mobile equipment (manlifts, etc.) and work in 60 to 70 ft. elevations. \n
Requirements: Required to be member of Level I PERT team. Must be able to be On Call\/Department Rotation. Must have Valid Driver License.\n
