Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job DescriptionMaintains a strong performance level of completing tasks to meet scheduled requirements and business objectives.Troubleshoots Mechanical, Pneumatic, Electrical (PLC experience preferred) and Hydraulic Systems to repair machine equipment during unexpected and expected downtime eventsComplete PM schedule that ensures machine robustness and maximum uptimeEnsure all equipment and tools are maintained properly to avoid interruption of production and to minimize unnecessary downtimeProactively analyzes machine downtime to identify and correct electrical and mechanical problems before they occurEnsure availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment to minimize unnecessary machine downtimeCreating work orders and analyzing work order history to determine and address root cause issuesCo-ordinate with outside contractors on equipment repairs and improvements while keeping costs lowProvide input and ensure completion of continuous improvement projectsCreates and maintains a safe and secure work environment – joining/performing LOTO, Fall Protection, Arc Flash Trainings

Requirements:

Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic SystemsExperience with total productive maintenance systems (TPM) preferred.CNC machine repair experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS software preferredStrong time management, sense of urgency, and organizational skills preferredStrong accountability and ownership of the maintenance practices and supporting equipment availability KPI’sFlexible and able to adjust quickly to changing demands and requests. Accepts new tasks as an opportunity for growth, embraces production challenges, and supports business needs.Focused continuous personal development of new skills and capabilities as business needs arise and change.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.04 - $28.54
