**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform mechanical repairs of the conveyor, bottling, and packaging systems. Responsibilities include motor changes, troubleshooting and diagnosing faults, changing drives and belts, gearboxes, preventative maintenance, and working on various equipment throughout the facility. The primary role involves fielding service calls throughout the facility to diagnose and troubleshoot any issues. Common tasks include fixing stoppage of machines/conveyors, changing bad cylinders, fixing photo eyes, replacing chains, and more. Preventative Maintenance is a small portion of the job, completed during the 'cleaning window' which lasts 2-3 hours every 1-2 days. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical repairs of conveyor, bottling, and packaging systems. + Change motors, troubleshoot and diagnose faults, and change drives and belts. + Work on gearboxes and perform preventative maintenance. + Field service calls throughout the facility to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. + Fix stoppage of machines/conveyors, change bad cylinders, fix photo eyes, and replace chains. **Essential Skills** + Preventive maintenance + Hydraulics + Pneumatics + Troubleshooting + Gearboxes + Motors + Three phase motors + Switches + Conveyor system maintenance + Electrical skills + Ability to read schematics **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong mechanical aptitude + Must have own basic set of tools + Must be able to work 1 weekend day with the option to have two days off + Electrical experience is a plus + Experience in food manufacturing maintenance is a plus + Experience with pumps and hydraulics is a plus **Why Work Here?** We offer optional and unlimited overtime with very flexible working hours. Pay raises can happen as soon as one month into the job for those who work well with the team and are eager to learn.
