We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the 2nd shift, working from 2 PM until the job is done, typically 10-hour days. In this role, you will ensure the safety and health of yourself and your team, support ISO 9001 activities, and maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate machines, tools, and equipment.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safety and health of self and team working in the surrounding area by participating in all safety activities.Support and maintain ISO 9001 activities and ensure that required processes are maintained.Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform general fabrication and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.Maintain the facility, grounds, and utility systems.Work with management to maintain waste water and other facility systems, ensuring compliance with environmental and government regulations.Implement Preventative Maintenance Programs on parts inventory, machinery, tools, and equipment.Maintain and repair machinery, mechanical equipment, motors according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.Essential SkillsMinimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.Skilled in mechanical, troubleshooting, and electrical tasks in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, including interpreting and applying safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, diagrams, and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence, and communicating effectively in groups, teams, and with co-workers, customers, and vendors.Ability to make accurate calculations and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.Proficient in computer software (Outlook, Word, Excel).Ability to work independently and as a team player.Ability to operate various office machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.Experience with PLC troubleshooting.Knowledge of 3-phase motors and equipment maintenance.Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00
