Responsible for maintenance and repair of production equipment and systems in cGMP manufacturing environments and maintaining areas and equipment in a state of inspection readiness.
The opportunity:
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and both planned and unplanned repairs according to SOPs and work instructions. Adjust and notify supervisors of any abnormalities.
Collaboration and Projects: Collaborate with department teams on specialized maintenance projects, research, implement methods and devices, and document change control.
Training and Documentation: Provide training to junior staff, complete GMP and other documentation, and revise or write new SOPs as needed.
General Duties: Order spare parts, provide general labor, clean and organize work areas, and ensure equipment monitoring and operational checks are performed.
Compliance and Safety: Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, adhere to safety and environmental guidelines, and immediately report any incidents to foster a positive safety culture.
Schedule: Day shift. Wednesday to Sunday from 5am to 3:30pm
Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate with 3 years of general maintenance experience and minimum 1-3 years in a cGMP environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to learn and use Microsoft Windows based platforms and/or company Intranet. Ability to use Microsoft and Google based computer software applications (MS Word/Excel; gDocs/ gSheets). Ability to use CMMS system to record work performed.
Available to work overtime when necessary and work varying shifts, including an On-Call program.
General knowledge of shop tool operation and safety.
Ability to work independently.
Proven ability to work in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Oceanside is 49,000.00 - 91,000.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.

Physical conditions and PPE requirements:
Schedule may include a non-rotating 4-day (10 hour shift), one weekend day, evening or night hours, or full off-shift hours.
Expected to be on feet for 8 to 10 hours a day.
May climb upwards of 6 flights of stairs a day to maneuver within the manufacturing facility.
Climb heights up to 30 feet by ladder.
Lifting up to 40lbs may be required.
Environment requires that gowning in the form of hospital scrubs, bunny suits, gloves and steel toe boots be worn. Also, no make up or jewelry can be worn when working in the clean room environment.
May work with hazardous materials and chemicals.
May wear air purifying respirator and necessary hearing protection.
May crawl, kneel, stoop or work in small work spaces
