**Maintenance Mechanic needed in Fort Dodge, IA** **Yearly earnings of $70,000+ with opportunity for growth** **Description** • Exhibits Packaging/Fill line competencies such as set-up, change over, individual PM performance and troubleshooting. • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance of packaging equipment, fill lines bioreactors, fermenters, capping machines, cell growth equipment and associated support equipment. • Implement metal work, sawing, welding, grinding, and filling. • The ability to perform detailed documentation of repair and preventive maintenance activities into a document detailing the problem, cause, and remedy. • Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts or equipment. • Furnish a complete set of hand tools. • Perform basic shop math and practical shop calculations with fractions, decimals, and percentages. • Provide basic measurements and measuring tools in either metric and/or US standard systems. • Implement metal work, sawing, welding, and grinding. • Demonstrate knowledge of basic AC/DC electricity and electronics, including 3-phase electrical systems to perform basic tasks involving electricity and electronics. • Independently perform methods of measuring current, voltage, resistance, simple OHMS law calculations, and reading both electrical and mechanical schematics. • Perform general housekeeping to maintain the cleanliness of work areas. • Use a computer to keep accurate and complete records, meeting cGMP documentation practices. • Demonstrate an understanding of mechanical systems to allow effective and efficient troubleshooting. • Perform jobs of the lower grades as required. • Follow OSHA standards and lockout tag out procedures. • Follow Procedures for the handling of hazardous waste. • Ability to pass aseptic gowning. **Skills** + Electrical, Mechanical + Preventive maintenance + Troubleshooting + Hydraulics + Schematics **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + HS Diploma/GED + 2-5 years of maintenance experience is preferred **Shift:** 2nd shift only **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $70720.00 - comprehensive health insurance plans, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; company-paid life insurance including short-term and long-term disability - paid time off, two additional office shutdown weeks mid-year and end of year as well as standard holidays. - annual bonus and stocks for those eligible & 401k plan **Workplace Type** This is a hybrid position in Webster City,IA. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Feb 4, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
