**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic, $25-35/hr depending on experience** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Fleet/Warehouse Manager for our Iowa City location. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage fleet maintenance, including annual inspections and repairs on various vehicles such as box trucks, tractors, 18 wheelers, and minivans. The ideal candidate will be ASE certified and either possess a CDL or be willing to obtain one. **Responsibilities** + Triage and schedule repairs and services based on priority. + Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, including changing brakes, filters, wheels/tires, and lights. + Order parts and maintain inventory. + Manage relationships with external service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services. + Conduct annual, pre, and post inspections. + Maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program using technology to log and track repairs. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Mechanical + Maintenance technician + Repair + Hydraulics + Preventive maintenance + Diesel + Hand tool usage + Heavy equipment **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years of heavy mechanical experience and/or a technical degree in a related field. + Clean driving record and up-to-date license. + ASE Medium-Heavy Truck Certification. + Excellent organizational leadership skills. + Task-oriented mindset with a servant leadership style. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in computer skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a small, family-owned business with an excellent culture.
