Maintenance Mechanic needed in Fort Dodge, IA

Description

•\tExhibits Packaging/Fill line competencies such as set-up, change over, individual PM performance and troubleshooting.

•\tTroubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance of packaging equipment, fill lines bioreactors, fermenters, capping machines, cell growth equipment and associated support equipment.

•\tImplement metal work, sawing, welding, grinding, and filling.

•\tThe ability to perform detailed documentation of repair and preventive maintenance activities into a document detailing the problem, cause, and remedy.

•\tCollaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts or equipment.

•\tFurnish a complete set of hand tools.

•\tPerform basic shop math and practical shop calculations with fractions, decimals, and percentages.

•\tProvide basic measurements and measuring tools in either metric and/or US standard systems.

•\tImplement metal work, sawing, welding, and grinding.

•\tDemonstrate knowledge of basic AC/DC electricity and electronics, including 3-phase electrical systems to perform basic tasks involving electricity and electronics.

•\tIndependently perform methods of measuring current, voltage, resistance, simple OHMS law calculations, and reading both electrical and mechanical schematics.

•\tPerform general housekeeping to maintain the cleanliness of work areas.

•\tUse a computer to keep accurate and complete records, meeting cGMP documentation practices.

•\tDemonstrate an understanding of mechanical systems to allow effective and efficient troubleshooting.

•\tPerform jobs of the lower grades as required.

•\tFollow OSHA standards and lockout tag out procedures.

•\tFollow Procedures for the handling of hazardous waste.

•\tAbility to pass aseptic gowning.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $70720.00
