**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in our plant under management supervision. This role requires a well-rounded mechanic with experience in electrical, PLC, hydraulics, and pneumatics. In addition to mechanical tasks, the candidate should be open to various other facility-related duties. Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the installation of new equipment. + Support the Maintenance Supervisor and other personnel on special fabrication and construction projects. + Follow the preventive maintenance schedule. + Train Level 1 Maintenance personnel. + Perform machine repairs and installations such as replacing motors, rebuilding gearboxes, running threaded piping, and executing welds. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Welding (MIG) + Maintenance technician skills + Electrical and mechanical repair + Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge + Preventive maintenance + PLC troubleshooting + Blueprint and schematic reading + Hand tool proficiency + Industrial and heavy equipment experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED + Experience in operating a forklift + Experience in welding and piping **Why Work Here?** There is a lot of opportunity for growth. This environment includes exposure to dead animals, so candidates must be aware and comfortable with these conditions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Kuna, Idaho. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
