Onin Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a major distribution center in Bessemer. Pay starts at $20/hr., with opportunities for increases upon rollover. 2nd shifts are available.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on fleet of cars.Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.Respond to emergency repairs to reduce downtime.Manage and maintain parts inventory.Keep accurate maintenance records.Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and hazard reporting.

Maintenance Mechanic Skills:

- Mechanical Knowledge: Hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix equipment issues.

- Tool Use: Skilled with hand and power tools.

- Physical Fitness: Lift heavy items, work in tight spaces, and perform physical tasks.
