**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for industrial equipment repairs, diagnosing and repairing problems with all equipment including conveyors, packaging lines, mixers, blenders, pumps, and work on improvement projects. Additionally, Maintenance Mechanics will perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure the product produced is of the highest quality and safe. Maintenance Mechanics are also responsible for building and facility maintenance. This role will require daily documentation pertaining to downtime, spare parts, and preventative maintenance performed. The Maintenance Mechanic candidate must be flexible to work weekends and other shifts as needed and have experience working in a clean, food environment with GMP knowledge. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose and repair industrial equipment including conveyors, packaging lines, mixers, blenders, and pumps. + Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. + Ensure the highest quality and safety of the produced product. + Conduct building and facility maintenance tasks. + Document daily activities related to downtime, spare parts, and preventative maintenance. + Troubleshoot basic PLC systems and diagnose wiring issues with sensors. + Work extensively with bottle-filling machinery and perform routine inspections and repairs. + Use root-cause analysis to diagnose and address issues in a timely manner. + Disassemble, repair, and reassemble pumps including replacing seal kits and fittings. + Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with pumps. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in the food and beverage industry. + Strong mechanical aptitude with skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors. + Experience with pump rebuilding is highly desirable. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
