Maintenance Mechanic
**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the day shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. You will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on our production machinery. **Responsibilities** + Operate, inspect, and repair maintenance equipment. + Utilize hand and power tools effectively. + Perform electrical troubleshooting up to 480 volts. + Ensure lock out/tag out procedure is followed for all repairs. + Troubleshoot gears, motors, bearings, and shafts. + Conduct pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair. + Perform repair welding on equipment. + Safely operate forklift and overhead cranes to move materials. + Understand and complete paperwork as assigned. + Follow quality procedures. + Comply with all plant safety rules. + Interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, and machinery manuals for repairs. + Complete all maintenance tasks assigned by the maintenance manager in a timely manner. + Respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance emergencies. **Essential Skills** + Previous industrial maintenance experience. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance techniques. + Experience with electrical systems up to 480 volts. + Knowledge of hand and power tools. + Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. + Repair welding skills. + Forklift and overhead crane operation. + Lock out/tag out procedure knowledge. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid Driver's License. + Ability to interpret blueprints and engineered drawings. + Understanding of quality procedures. + Compliance with plant safety rules. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety and quality in all aspects of work.
