Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.Order and install replacement parts for machines.Identify the cause of unexpected machine breakdowns.Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.Troubleshoot, identify, fix, and rebuild broken packaging and food processing equipment, building structures, and auxiliary systems (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).Report findings to the rest of the team.Install, service, maintain, modernize, and modify machinery and processing apparatus.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsMaintenanceMechanical troubleshootingRepair and maintenanceMaintenance technicianElectrical troubleshootingAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School degree, some college preferred2+ years' work experience in a manufacturing settingDatabase managementMS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Working knowledge of plant equipment and parts a plusWillingness to work long hours and weekendsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment with two openings on 1st Shift (5:30 am to 2 pm) and two openings on 2nd Shift (2 pm to 10:30 pm), with overtime on Saturdays. Mechanics perform usual maintenance tasks such as changing gears, belts, and conducting preventative maintenance. The role involves mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
