Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

A manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join the team. The candidate will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance of industrial production equipment within a food production facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machines, handling machine breakdowns, performing rebuilds, welding, electrical programming, PLC knowledge, automation knowledge, and fabrication.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial production equipment.Troubleshoot and repair control systems, pumps, motors, HMIs, and PLCs on complex process and packaging equipment.Conduct machine breakdown repairs, rebuilds, welding, and electrical programming.Utilize automation systems and fabrication techniques as needed.Perform electrical work on industrial machines with 480V.Maintain documentation for maintenance activities using the maintenance database (CMMS).Communicate maintenance issues to appropriate employees including other maintenance techs, operators, engineers, and supervisors.Properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
