**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **$38-$45/hour** **Job Description** We are seeking candidates with a strong mechanical and welding skillset to join our maintenance team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment, including motors, rubber/steel belt conveyor systems, and production-related equipment. **Responsibilities** + Maintain the plant equipment including motors, rubber/steel belt conveyor systems, and production-related equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems with support. + Inspect and maintain the functionality of production machines. + Perform safety checks on equipment. + Communicate with Maintenance and Production teams. + Maintain a clean work area. + Safely operate all equipment. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude + Knowledge of welding (stick welding preferred) + Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics + Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems + Understanding of basic hand tools + Experience with preventive maintenance + Knowledge of heavy equipment + Ability to read blueprints and schematics **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with electrical troubleshooting + Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting + Experience in industrial, construction, or fabrication settings + Understanding of 3-phase motors + Experience with diesel repair + Ability to perform equipment maintenance and repair **Why Work Here?** Our company offers strong employee benefits for medical, dental, and vision.
