**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician's overall responsibility is to provide technical support for all manufacturing equipment and processes, perform maintenance functions, and preventive maintenance along with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems to ensure ongoing operations. The Maintenance Technician will also assist in improving manufacturing processes in terms of quality and performance measurements. Approximately 60% of the day-to-day activities involve planned preventive maintenance, while the remaining 40% is reactive or involves assisting with changeovers, jams, and working with operators to fine-tune the production lines. **Responsibilities** + Provide technical support for all manufacturing equipment and processes. + Perform maintenance functions and preventive maintenance. + Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems. + Assist in improving manufacturing processes in terms of quality and performance measurements. + Engage in planned preventive maintenance for 60% of the time. + React to and assist with changeovers, jams, and work with operators to fine-tune production lines for 40% of the time. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical maintenance experience + Troubleshooting skills + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems + Experience with refrigeration, schematic interpretation, and blueprint reading + Welding and PLC troubleshooting skills + Preventive maintenance expertise **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with electrical maintenance will earn additional pay. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, and pension plans, with the company covering 20% of the benefits cost.
