This position is responsible for performing assigned maintenance duties within scope of classification to include equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown, and equipment failure.. _Perdue AgriBusiness offers competitive wages and benefit packages to full-time, regular positions._ **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment + Diagnose failures to mechanical equipment and make repairs + Rebuild mechanical equipment + Fabricate sheet metal. + Compile and complete paperwork relative to repairs to include but not limited to work orders, time cards, and job cards + Perform all work within safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies + Respond to calls after hours and on weekends to repair mechanical equipment failures + Perform other tasks assigned task as assigned **Preferred Education** + High School Diploma or equivalent + Advanced electrical training preferred **Experience Requirements** + Valid state drivers license + Satisfactory DOT drug test and physical **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** + Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150') + climbing vertical ladders, carrying tools and equipment (0-100 pounds) + exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available) + Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus.
