Maintenance Mechanic

Summary: The Maintenance Mechanic provides electrical and mechanical support for assigned buildings. This role has wide-ranging responsibilities, including low/medium voltage power, HVAC systems and controls, mechanical system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, emergency response, general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, and vendor management. Primary responsibilities include electrical/mechanical support for power systems, lighting systems and controls, and other facility subsystems. This position requires on-call availability for after-hours emergencies.

Essential Functions:

Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly facility repairs and maintenanceComplete facility preventive maintenance and troubleshoot repairsWork with vendors and use JLL Corrigo Work Order systemMaintain compliance with state, county, and city ordinances, codes, and lawsAdhere to all safety procedures and policies for hazardous materials handlingParticipate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programsPerform general interior maintenance and special tasks (e.g., painting, locksmith work)Maintain lighting systemsAssist operations team in building and equipment maintenance and repairPerform minor plumbing repairsMove office furniture, machinery, and equipment as requestedConduct facility inspections and report on conditionsMaintain good housekeeping and identify safety hazards

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalentCompletion of applicable technical training program (desirable)Minimum one year of experience in general building repair, maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical workExperience with power tools, cutting equipment, and forklift operations

Certifications and Licenses:

Valid state driver's license

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)Ability to comply with Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed policies and procedures

Physical Requirements:

Frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and overhead workAbility to lift a minimum of 80 lbsUse ladders up to 30 ft and work from heightsClimb a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit while carrying a 20-lb tool bag

Note: Tools required to perform assigned work scope will be provided.
