Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment, perform necessary preventive maintenance, and repair or rebuild various plant and process equipment. This role involves working with pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and requires both mechanical and electrical aptitude.
ResponsibilitiesDiagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment.Perform preventive maintenance on plant and process equipment.Repair, rebuild, or replace pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, and other related equipment.Repair, rebuild, and replace hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.Understand and work with flow controls.Utilize electrical and mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshooting and repair.Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.Experience with preventive maintenance.Mechanical repair and service skills.Proficiency in using multimeters and voltmeters.Experience in an industrial, food, or electronics environment.Knowledge of SAP software.Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to read and write English.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh level of welding skills.Flexible to work various shifts as plant and business needs arise.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work schedule includes a rotating shift from 6pm to 6am, with rotating days off: one week Monday and Tuesday off, the next week Wednesday and Thursday off, and the following week Friday to Sunday off, with one 4-day weekend off a month. The work environment can be hot or cold in different areas. Shift differential is provided for working from 6pm to 6am. The second shift operates from 3pm to 11:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.99 - $30.00/hr.
