**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior preventative maintenance experience, basic electrical knowledge, and flexibility with work schedules. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and adjustment of machinery and components in our facility, as well as troubleshooting and performing reactive maintenance during peak seasons. **Responsibilities** + Perform proper installation, maintenance, and adjustments of various machinery and components in the facility. + Troubleshoot equipment and machinery with or without the aid of blueprints, operations manuals, or schematics. + Perform reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment during peak season (June-Dec.) and preventative maintenance during the off-season. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Maintenance technician + Mechanical + Electrical + Preventive maintenance + Repair + Blueprint reading + Electrical troubleshooting + Maintenance repair **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to assemble, disassemble, overhaul hydraulic pumps, relief valves, regulating valves, filters, lines, actuating cylinders and motors + Experience with pumps and hydraulics preferred + Prior refrigeration experience or experience in a food manufacturing plant is a plus + Universal EPA Certification is a plus + Trade in welding/fabrication or machining is preferred **Why Work Here?** This is a great opportunity to gain employment with a longstanding employer that has very long-tenured employees. The peak season runs from June to December, during which reactive maintenance is performed, while the off-season is dedicated to preventative maintenance and repairs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Brockport, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
