**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role involves performing daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various mechanical systems and equipment. You will work independently as well as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. **Responsibilities** + Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks. + Work on pumps, gear boxes, and change valves. + Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues. + Check and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Maintain ovens, fans, blowers, and other equipment. + Use hand and power tools provided by the company. + Collaborate with the production team and shop managers to schedule and complete daily duties. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting and repair skills. + Experience as a maintenance technician. + Mechanical repair and maintenance experience. + Ability to perform preventive maintenance. + Proficiency with hand tools. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Experience with electrical systems. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. + PLC troubleshooting skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Fabrication and welding experience is a plus. + Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gears, and valves. + Ability to work well with others. **Why Work Here?** Our company values its employees and prioritizes giving back to them. We have around 30 employees working across 3 shifts in a manufacturing environment with large ovens, conveyors, duct work, and other equipment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgewater, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr.
