**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Maintenance Mechanic will focus on repairing critical mechanical breakdowns of manufacturing equipment. The role involves diagnosing and repairing equipment with or without documentation to ensure uninterrupted production. When no critical breakdowns require attention, the mechanic will perform preventive maintenance and document repairs and equipment used. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose and repair critical mechanical breakdowns of manufacturing equipment. + Utilize new techniques and traditional methods to diagnose mechanical problems. + Replace or repair gear boxes as necessary. + Repair or replace pumps and their internal components. + Perform preventive maintenance tasks. + Document all repairs and equipment used. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. + Experience as a maintenance technician. + Proficiency in preventive maintenance. + Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems. + Strong familiarity with gear boxes and pumps. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred minimum of 5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience. + Experience working in an industrial maintenance environment. + Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude. + Ability to work well with others and seek help when needed. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive time off once you become a full-time employee, along with 401k matching and federal holidays.
