Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As our facility moves machinery from Oklahoma to Michigan, we are ready to start our 3rd shift staff for our biggest line. The maintenance mechanic will be responsible for all mechanical repairs and facility maintenance around the plant.

ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical repairs and facility maintenance around the plant.Troubleshoot hydraulic systems on industrial machines, including motors, hoses, and pumps.Troubleshoot pneumatic systems on industrial machines to ensure proper air flow.Diagnose and troubleshoot assembly equipment issues quickly to ensure continuous production.Perform basic MIG welding.Assist with facility maintenance both inside and outside, including changing light bulbs, shoveling snow, and maintaining sidewalks.Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting, including diagnosing sensors and 240V systems, and communicating issues to electricians.Essential Skills5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a fast-paced industrial automotive setting.3+ years of experience in hydraulic troubleshooting on industrial machines.Experience in troubleshooting pneumatic systems.2+ years of experience in troubleshooting assembly equipment.Proficiency in basic MIG welding.Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing sensors and 240V systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley & Siemens).Experience in 480V electrical troubleshooting and 3-phase motors.Knowledge of vision systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a newly renovated plant with modern equipment, including CNC machines, conveyors, and robotic weld cells. Shift options include: 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm), 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm), and 3rd shift (11pm - 7:30am) with a shift premium for off shifts. Currently, the team is working 6-7 days a week due to production demands, with an average of 40-50 hours per week. Occasional travel to Oklahoma may be required to assist with machinery teardown and relocation to Michigan, with expenses covered.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
