**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to lead the maintenance program for our manufacturing plant. This role involves overseeing the maintenance of 25 machines, both newer and older models. T. The primary focus will be on troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining all glass equipment in the plant. The candidate should possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, particularly in handling pneumatic systems and 3-phase 480 systems, and be proficient in PLC troubleshooting. **Responsibilities** + Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program. + Troubleshoot and maintain all glass equipment in the plant. + Perform facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and office repairs. + Order spare parts and organize the shop. + Drive to stores for parts and tools using a company card. + Collaborate with manufacturers to resolve issues via phone. + Assist production when needed. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of industrial experience. + Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatic systems. + Experience with chain repair, motors, belts, and rollers. + Knowledge of electrical cabinets and PLC troubleshooting (no programming). + Ability to read diagrams and schematics. + Valid driver's license. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with CNC cutting machines (American and German). + Familiarity with the person washing machines, extruder machines, HVAC systems, ovens, polishing machines, and belt sanders. + Proficiency in creating and maintaining PM schedules using Word and Excel. **Work Environment** Our glass manufacturing plant, located in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, is a fast-paced, loud, and semi-dirty environment. We specialize in producing high-quality insulated, laminated, and tempered glass products for both commercial and residential customers. Our team has over 50 years of combined experience in the glass fabrication industry. The position involves working a flexible first shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (with potential adjustments, such as 9:00 am to 5:00 pm). Fridays are dedicated to preventive maintenance and fixing issues, and the candidate may need to be on call when production starts at 5:00 am. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
