Maintenance Mechanic Description: Position Title: General Mechanic Pay Rate: $36.28 - $38.76 Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time – Must be flexible to work all three shifts, work 12 hours as need, Saturday and Sundays as needed. 3rd Shift – 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM 1st Shift – 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM 2nd Shift – 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM Physical Location: Santa Fe Springs Central 9211 Norwalk Blvd Santa FE Springs, CA 90670 The Job You Will Perform: Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Following all safety rules and practices  Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels  Performing emergency / break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations  Accurately using measurement and test equipment  Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed  Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks  Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork  Trouble-shooting and solving problems  Maintaining teamwork with other associates  Performing other duties as assigned by supervision The Skills You Will Bring: • At least one year of successful mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing facility. • On-the-job success in safety, attendance and quality of work expected. • Maintenance experience in corrugated a plus.
